Farm Talk - Leah Hill, Coastal Resilience

Leah Hill, Coastal Resilience Coordinator for the Town of Nantucket, will be the featured speaker at Farm Talks on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM at Bartlett’s Farm.

As Nantucket faces increasing climate-related challenges, coastal resilience planning is critical for protecting the island’s infrastructure, ecosystems, and historic character. Hill will discuss ongoing initiatives to address sea level rise, coastal erosion, and storm impacts. Her presentation will provide an overview of current projects, long-term adaptation strategies, and ways for residents to get involved in safeguarding the island’s future.

This session offers a unique opportunity to learn how local government, community partners, and residents are working together to build a more resilient Nantucket.
