Pride Zine Making

Pride Zine Making

Join us for a vibrant celebration of Pride Month and a creative zine-making session! This inclusive event welcomes individuals of all ages to come together and express their creativity.

Zines, short for “magazines,” are self-published mini-books that serve as a canvas for personal expression. They have been a powerful tool for marginalized communities to share their stories, ideas, and perspectives. In the spirit of Pride Month, we invite you to use this medium to showcase your unique voice, celebrate diversity, and promote inclusivity.

No prior zine-making experience is necessary. All materials provided as well as a short presentation from Nantucket Pride about the history of zine making in the LGBTQ+ community.

Ages 14 and under require a parent to be present.

This program is presented in partnership with Nantucket Pride and Nantucket Atheneum
