Science Pub at The Hive: Let's Botanize

We’re excited to wrap up the 2026 Science Pub season with an in-person presentation at The Hive! Ben Goulet-Scott, Ph.D. and Jacob S. Suissa, Ph.D., are the co-founders and directors of Let's Botanize, an educational non-profit that promotes the hobby of botanizing by sharing plant stories. Let’s Botanize is promoting the hobby of botanizing by sharing a passion and curiosity for plants. In their new book, Jacob and Ben aim to provide an entry point into botanizing through a collection of 101 prompts that implore careful observation of plants. Come learn about their philosophy of the accessible and under-appreciated natural history hobby of botanizing, all while enjoying light bites, refreshments, and community connection!
