Located on Nantucket, this three story former whaling captain’s home is the epitome of our historic island. The Carlisle House Inn is in a cobblestoned neighborhood of traditional grey shingled homes with pristinely trimmed hedges and picket fences. The pineapple, a symbol of hospitality, hangs on our sign near the front steps as a warm welcome to all travelers.

The Carlisle House Inn property features a breakfast porch, hydrangea gardens, a fire pit, along with views of our beautiful town.
